Monday, Sept 15....11:40am
Today is a good day!!!! The doctor is hopeful that Dad could be moved out of ICU tomorrow. Yay! Pray that Dad will be well enough tomorrow to be moved. Dad is even more alert today, and just as funny as ever. He told Mom and I that he keeps seeing snow in the distance, and there are eskimo bears with boomerangs. Dad is looking so much better. He still can't talk in a normal voice, but it is a little easier to tell what he is saying. He doesn't have an infection, so he is no longer in isolation. Praise God!!! Mom and I are so excited about his improvements, and the possiblity that he will get out of ICU soon. Pray that he continues to breath well on his own, and that the pancreas will start healing. Keep praying that he will continue to get better, and that he'll keep his sense of humor. We continue to praise God for His wonderful blessings, but also know that there is still a long road a head of us.

Boy, Grandma and I will need to celebrate again with the rootbeer floats...we're going to put on a few pounds.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Praise him for all the little things. Praise him for all the little things that matter, hand squeezes, eye flutters, good numbers, better numbers, family, friends, friends that wait with us, friends that pray, old friends, new friends, friends of our families, friends of friends who don't even know our family, friends who God sends our way to cheer & encourage us, friends you meet in the waiting room, friends who can receive blessings by reading this blog, friends who care, friends far, friends near, friends who can't come visit but can pray, family near, family far, family who can't visit but can pray, family who send love & hugs your way, good news, good days, all the good ways that we can say We Love You all of you, good tears, sad tears, tears of love, tears of hurt, tears of the unknown, tears of fear, hugs of love, hugs of comfort, hugs of family, hugs of friends, hugs from moms, hugs from dads, hugs from sisters, hugs from bothers, hugs from others, hand squeezes from a loving wife, hand squeezes from a daughter, hand squeezes from a son, hand squeezes from family near and far, nurses who care, doctors who want to find the answers, church families that pray to ask for healing, church families that care about family near or far, families that pull together for a love one, Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Praise God for a loving, caring, patient husband, father & son who needs healing from the Heavenly father!
