Monday September 22 ...10:00 pm - Day 19

HE'S HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We left the hospital with MANY instructions about 6:45 pm
We stopped at Walgreens to fill 10 prescriptions and waited about an hour - home by 8:15 pm.
Robert and I are both EXHAUSTED and feel like we can sleep for 3 days.
I cried on the way home remembering 10 -15 days ago...when I did not know if I would ever bring him home again. God is gracious and good.
Today he learned that the damage in his pancreas is such that it is not producing any insulin. Dr's do not hold much hope of that being restored.
God has his plans and we embrace what He gives us, knowing that He has our ultimate good in mind.
thanks and good night

~Jeanette

We are so blessed by all that you have shared on your blog these last days. God has really done a tremendous work in ALL of you and we are privileged to get to share in it. We will keep praying for healing, rest, and strength! We love you!

Danielians.....

I'm glad your home to rest!!! God rested, after creation too!!! Since God created our bodies, he knows all about Robert's body. Let's continue to pray that he helps restore, renew, and regenerate his body....

We know that God is our Great Physician...He amazes us by giving his children strength. I know that he has plans for Robert..plans that we don't know. I believe that Robert needs this resting period. We pray for strength, one day at a time..."One day at a time, dear Jesus.."

Make sure your taking time to rest and recooperate...I know that's your goal this week...

Love to all...Keep on calling, we love to hear from you daily..

Wow! This is huge! I'm so glad you get to take your 3 AM walks together at home now! :) We're very happy and thankful for all God has done with Robert's recovery.

On another note, we're hoping to come down to help with bill paying on Monday eve., 9/29, if that works for you. We're assuming you want us at the end of the month. Good?

On another another note, how's your bro, Mike?

We love you,

Betsy & Lee
