Currently my dad is resting. He is not as restless as he was last night. They are still trying to get his medication at the right level. They want to do a biopsy on his pancreas to see if the infection is actually in his pancreas or if it might be coming from somewhere else. He still has an irregular heart beat. The amount of fluids that they are putting in him will make him swell up, and they will most likely have to put him on a temporary dialysis to drain the fluids. He developed a fever last night that reached 102, so they have him on an ice pad as well as covering him with an ice pad. It is down a little, but still there and they are keeping a close eye on him. I will continue to keep you all updated as time goes on. Thank you for all your prayers, support, and encouragement these last few days.

Hi Bob,
Wow! What a turn of events. Know that I am praying for you Brother! Please keep me posted.
The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid: do not be discouraged. (Deut 31:8) Thanks for the news, I will see you later today while I am there. M Mosher
Praying for you and your family! Marty
I'm so sorry to hear about this turn of events. My thoughts and prayers are with you and with your family as I know first hand how difficult it is to have someone in the hospital and be "helpless" to help them.
Should it become necessary, Oregon Health Science Center has state-of-the-art pancreatic specialists in the field of cancer. It may be possible that they are the best in other areas about pancreatic issues as well. When my dad had pancreatic cancer, they were one of the best in the world. Don't delay in doing some research should you need to know.
Also, there are groups that fly individuals from any place in the northwest who are in critical condition to hospitals where they can get the best treatment and they do not charge. I believe their names are "Angels of Mercy" or something like that.
My hope is that things have improved by today. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Jeanette, wow, been thinking about you all day today, then I get to BSF tonight and find out that Robert is hospitalized! Thank you for the updated blog. My prayers are with you and the medical staff.
