Tuesday, Sept 9th....6:45pm

After seeing his leg scan, the doctor is much less concerned about the blood clot now. Yeah! That's a positive! The focus, now, is reducing fluid level in the body and waiting for things to stablize. The doctor called him "relatively stable" today. So all in all, this was a "good" day - hmmmm...we seem to be seeing a pattern....bad day, good day, bad day, good day....
So all we can do right now is wait and pray. Please continue to pray for us, and for dad. We are so glad to have so many friends and family joining us in this journey. God is good and we continue to praise Him in this storm.

Praise the Lord sounds like today was a good day. We will keep the prayers going for Robert and well as the rest of you. I have some food for you that I would like to deliver to your home tonight if that is possible. Thanks, Patti

Dear Bob and Jeannette,
I was stunned and sad to hear of Bob's medical difficulties! I had just commented to a couple of friends that I was surprised not to see my old friend at Bible Study Fellowship last night, then I get an e-mail forwarded to me about this!

My prayers are with you and with Rosanne and Robby. I know that you are courageous people who commit your lives to the Lord, and I know that you fully believe that he is sovereign and in control. I also believe that He gives us immeasureable peace and comfort in trials, but any way that you spin this, it's a scary time for you!

Let us know when Bob can have visitors...I'd guess that it's out of the question at this critical time. I for one really appreciate these types of blogs that are used to help us know how to pray and stay updated as to your needs.

Bless you all,
Carl Nelson

Good morning dear ones,

So very thankful for the good news and could not help but ponder on Lam 3:22-26 Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. THEY ARE NEW EVERY MORNING;GREAT IS YOUR FAITHFULNESS. "The Lord is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I hope in Him!" The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.

Praying that you will be comforted by His compassion today!

Jeanette and Family;

Praise God for His healing hands. I will continue to pray for you all, asking for God to give the doctors wisdom through this process.

I am reminded of Isa 26:3-4 "Thou wilt keep him in Perfect Peace whose mind is stayed on thee. Trust in the Lord Jehovah for He is your everlasting Rock.

Robert has always been an encouragement to me remind me always to keep my eyes on Him. May this cause us all to remind each other that God is IN CONTROL. His Mercy, Grace, Love and Strength will guide our step ALWAYS.

In His Peace;

Pete Coulson

Thanks for setting up this site. It has been so helpful to read and understand what is happening to Robert. Since we live over 2,000 miles away from Oregon it is nice to get updates over the internet. Our admissions staff at Taylor University Fort Wayne is praying for you and Robert during this difficult time.
